Do you have a child struggling to make sense of the world, perhaps struggling with self harm or suicidal ideation?
Or are you a family struggling to face the challenges of living with a neurological disability such as Autism?
There are many more reasons to seek counselling than those listed here.
So if you need support please contact me. I am able to offer you a safe, confidential, non-judgemental therapeutic space to explore the things that are causing you discomfort or distress.
My career has been varied, but given me many skills over the years. I spent over 10 years working with children with special needs as well as supporting children as a learning mentor and as a child advocate.
As I worked with the children and the families I became aware I wanted to be able to offer more support and this led me to eventually train as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor.
It is such a privilege to help someone at the lowest point in their lives and give them the time and space to explore it without judgement.
My Therapy experience includes working for the NHS within CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services). Barnardos Children's Charity and with a Local Bedford Charity
"FACES" supporting families who have been the victims of domestic violence and abuse or suffering from life limiting conditions.
All these opportunities have given me a broad spectrum of valuable therapeutic experience.
I hope this reassures you that I can offer you the safe confidential space you need to start your counselling journey.

Talking with someone who is non-judgemental is important when helping you to explore the problems you have in your life.
We all have times when things get too much. I am passionate about supporting anyone who is struggling with a Mental Health problem. Admitting we need help is the first step to making positive changes for ourselves.
Talking in a safe space can make such a difference to our wellbeing because you are important too.
I look forward to meeting you and taking that journey together.
Support That Makes a Difference
Life throws many surprises at us, and while we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can take control of how we respond to certain situations.
Hypnotherapy offers a great tool in overcoming some difficult situations we might face.
It works by using a goal oriented focus, with guided relaxation to allow your subconscious mind to reset it's old patterns of behaviour and creating new feelings around it.
If you are struggling with Anger, Anxiety, Fears, Trauma, OCD, Low Self-Confidence or Self Esteem, Trauma, this may be a good therapeutic intervention.
Please contact me to discuss your needs.
I know that taking the first steps to see a Counsellor can be incredibly difficult.
Sometimes all it takes is a leap of faith.
“When we talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting and less scary”
